The 22nd of October was a special day for Thread Foundation. After weeks full of planning and fundraising we were finally able to start the registration of estimated 200 vulnerable children and aged under the national health insurance scheme.

Everyone was up very early that day to set up everything. Starting from arranging chairs for the waiting people, electricity for the computers, lists for taking the data to organising the waiting people and many more tasks we were really busy that day. 

But we finally did! At the end of 2 days full of work we are proud to announce that we were able to insure 211 people:

117 renewals and 94 new registrations.

In the group of the renewals we have had 94 children, 21 Aged and 2 adults with special needs. In the group of new registrations we have had  72 children, 14 Aged and 8 Adults with special needs and/or member of Thread Foundation.

Let´s keep on going the health insurance to improve the life of people in and around the community of Ntonso.
